    Hi all,
    I've just launched my site at www.qualityavatars.com and am trying to get up to speed on SEO with help from the fantastic forums here - you guys really are a goldmine of help!

    i've just read about internal linking and how it can help my "juice". I have a lot of internal linking already (*i think*) due to my sites automatically generated navbar ;

    the navbar is under the H1 title and is
    Ok, FIRST question - does google "see" this as internal linking? Does it help my site?

    SECOND question - would i be better off in any way by changing the navigation line to

    where the red words are links?

    hope this makes sense =)

    Internal linking is just want you link to your own website via your own web pages on that site. This is done to allow crawlers to easily access all your web pages, the same goes for your visitors! The idea of using content to internally link is the right idea to have in mind, it provides more relevancy than inside a menu bar.
