    Yup, this sums the technique, but for a less then 100000 results keywords, it is pretty easy.

    Same technique should be used for more competitive keywords.

    I didnt follow this method.But i started a blog with keywords with less competition,then i build some one way links in forums through discussions and to my surprise i got listed in the first page.I am not a pro in SEO.I got listed in google's first page out of 2,890,000 results. The blog was started on feb 2008 and i got these results within 2 months or even less that i dont remember and its my first blog & first experiment.

    I think having good one way links + good key words + less competition gives good result.

    4 days is pretty less, but I guess they are good tips. I am not so sure about article submission though

    Its very possible! Did you know that Article Marketing is one of the most powerful strategy in SEO? It surely helps alot in ways of backlinks, SEO and SERPing

    IMO, having keywords in the domain is a plus but it's not a strict requirement to achieve rankings.

    Article marketing is becoming less powerful, Google has recently de-valued the value of submission and directory links etc, it is still worth a look, however explore your options. I have achieved many top rankings by doing a bit of everything SEO wise, and then focusing on certain areas where Google places more importance.

    I'll try this

    beginners like me should focus on lesser keyword to build up my SEO skill as well as my confidence

    then look for more competitive keyword, I think the method is similar with what is outlined here but with more intensity

    Ranking for under-100,000 results is pretty much the easiest thing to do ever. I've done this without even optimizing a page.
