Article Marketing - What is the best method?

I have written a new article but was wondering what you considered the best approach to drive as much traffic to my website as possible?

1. submitting the same article to 100s of sites using submission software
2. submitting the same article to a selection of quality directories - if so how many and which ones?
3. submitting the same article but re-writing the headline and small amounts of the text before submission to 100s of sites
4. submitting the same article but re-writing the headline and small amounts of the text before submission to a small selection of sites
5. submitting a largely re-written article to each of a small selection of sites (I wouldnt do this for 100s of sites for obvious reasons!)

Only submit your article with quality websites, that's for sure.

I'm using also a (paid) service uniquearticlewizard.com that automatically submits a UNIQUE version of your article to related directories and blogs. For this you need 2 rewrites of your original article. Then the service spins the paragraphs so that for every single submission another version is used.

I've been doing some article marketing for a while. I've found that I got the best results with one unique article being submitted to Ezine and Isnare's paid service. I usually get a 3-5%+ CTR on my articles. Plus, you get the backlinks as well

Ezinearticles is my favorite too.

 

ezine takes ages before you reap the benefits, i would say submit the smae article to hudreds of directories, works like a charm every time. There are tooo many articles on all these huge sites, submit to a smaller site adn your more likely to get featured on the homepage = quick indexing plus faster response rate.

 

Submit your article to the quality websites...

tobidotman - would you say this is a short-term policy or effective long term, I assume a lot of the articles would get penalised by googles duplicate content filter?

mudassar anwar - I am currently only concentrating on promoting one website (on one subject), I would have difficulty writing many articles, would you say trying to rewrite the same article on ezinearticles is still the best approach or would they start rejecting them as not unique?

The worst thing I heard on article submission.

 

Think about it, the internet is based around duplicate content, when somebody sees a good article they copy it onto their website right? duplicate content is totally over hyped in my opinion. wouldn't you like to ahve the top 10 spots for a long tail key phrase to increase your chance of grabbing that potential client?
article marketing is based on submitting to several sites, in the end google will choose the site it trusts the most for the top spot, but having hundreds of the same article increases your chances of google even finding your article. From personal experience it took google around 3 months to index one of my articles on ezine which is said to be the most popular. the same article on a lesser known directory got indexed in 2 weeks because it was featured on their homepage.
I think it's a short term strategy but if you tweak it a bit, lets say social bookmark the articles or something, it can be long term.

 

I own article directory, duplicate content doesn't matter if you really the article owner.
just write the summary and quote "if you like to know how to make bla..bla..bla.. visit my blog or site here."
that can be done at all directory include mine and ezine.

In my opinion I would say that using the Quality article sites is the best option, followed by bookmarking those articles on lots of soical networks with PostToaster.com or similar.
I think that 1 article submitted to a site then bookmarked 100 times would be more powerful than using 100 article sites.

but ezine works wonder.

 

If you are doing article marketing for traffic the more directories you are in the better. if you are using them search engine bait you need them to be unique and the Article Leverage Program at SubmitYourArticle.com is the way to go.

 

I also start my article marketing journey earlier of June. Currently I write 3 articles per day and submit them to ezinearticles. Once everything is done, I will rewrite them and submit them in bulk to other article directories. So far I get some good results from ezinearticles but not from other article directories. Anyway I will keep trying until the end of June. Let see what is the result I will get...
