I need help you guys on Digital Point. My ex just broke up with me for her ex boyfriend which then I found out the kid shes pregnant with isn't mine. We had been together for a year and about 5 months. Now I just feel like ending it all right here in my bed room. What can I do to get it off my mind. Its all I can think about... her cheating on me with this guy.

Sorry to hear, man, I know it sucks; been there too. I also think that you should spend time with friends — especially friends who you can talk about how you feel. The pain will fade away in time, trust me.

go get arrested for something. that'll take your mind off it. I suggest "disturbing the public" hit a bar, start a bar fight.

    I hope this helps.

There is nothing in life worth killing yourself over. There are a few things worth dieiing for if the cause is just.

This girl for sure is not one of them. As hard as it is to do I think you should try to focus on how lucky you are that she cheated on you before the kid in the hopper or the next bedroom was yours. Then you would have some real obligation to try and work things out.

Breakups are never fun and quite often are painful. I am 58 years old and in that time I have experieced a few and observed many. I have yet to see a single one where the "dumped" party was not happier after a year than they ever were with the person who dumped them.

Call some friends, go out, get drunk, smoke some weed or whatever it takes to make it through the first few days. Avoid all women during this time.

Post back in a couple of weeks and let us know how life seems then.

    ^^ what he said.
It's not your kid either, so no need to support it in any way (financially or otherwise).

Although I never get why people post things like this on a webmaster forum though, surely phoning samaritans or something would be a much better option.
Ignore me, i'm sure you had a good reason for posting it here that i've just overlooked.

I was about your age the first time it happened.

Re-read my first post and trust me, I posted from the heart and and told you the way it really is.

Also, please consider the ones you might leave behind, mother, father, sisters and others. The guilt trip you lay on them is a terrible burden.

"Ending it all" is the coward's way out. Somehow I think you are better than that or you would not have posted the initial message.
