Well i just need to transfer some cash to my friend in china via western union for a product. He accepts only western union or bank transfer.

Well i think it's impossible to do bank transfer to china as no more chinese banks in my place.I approached 7 western union institutions here and they are telling, they can't send cash, but only receive cash from outside. Is it really impossible to send cash from india via western union? Plz help me :(

thats true. You cant sent money outside india.
You are allowed to send a foreign bank to bank wire transfer to any foreign country. Just go to your bank, they will ask you to fill some form asking for valid reason. Once you do that they will execute the transfer. From what i know most banks in india and china charge about $35 to $50 to process incoming and outgoing wire transfers.

Yeah fees will be always higher mate. Specially for China.

You can also use Xoom to send money I think. Check Xoom.com if they have services in China.

You know what the money transfer situation in India sucks! Does your friend in china not have Paypal? If you do not want to deal with Paypal and all that crap, use EGOLD or LIBERTYRESERVE.

Open a liberty reserve account, find someone in india to fund your account..send liberty reserve to china.

As money exchanging is banned from DP, it would be hard for you to find someone without getting scammed. I do suggest to use Moneybookers as they accept both of these countries. Fund your MB with your bank account/CC for secure payment and send the money. ;)
