I'm currently creating a article on search engine optimization. I've put everything I can think of, though, I'm sure that there are still some things I've missed. http://www.explosivewebdesign.com/articles/seo.html I'd appreciate any input. (note: This article is obviously NOT an in depth article and touches briefly on different optimizing tips.) Thanks, Joel.
hey nice article and site , I like the improving article, under the "- Web Design Articles -" try to have a basic know-how on SEO, it is great tips having the basic then up to the advance techniques IMHO, like discussing the on and off page....but it is only my opinion....i like the article in total....
you have a good information over there on page, but it's hard to read because of the font and background color.
Could you please clarify what you mean? because the background is a very dark color and the text is white, I think it's as readable as it will get. Correct me if you're talking about something different.
I agree with mit - the white text on black background is difficult to read. Its all about the contrast between the two colour AND peoples perception of them. People are more used to reading black text, white background. Your style, while fitting in with the rest of the site design, is difficult on my eyes. Perhaps use CSS replacement to offer a white background/black text option? Colour contrast and perception is usually something I discuss in more detail with clients who are targetting an older demographic but there is some sound advice on the rnib website, or look to any reputable source of accesibility advice.
My pleasure . If anyone has anything they think should be added, or changed, don't hesitate to tell me.
