Who owns content of every site hosted on blogger.com

I am bit confused today, so asking for help. I have few sites on blogger. These were started in my early days. Today, while reading blogger related blogs, I came to know that blogger/google owns content of each and every site hosted on blogger.

Is it true???

Yes it is mentioned in the terms of service!! The owners of the content are the blog owners google does not own it nor can it be held responsible for it!!

 

blogger.com just a hosting. like wordpress.com

 

Do you think that Google wants to be held liable for the opinions of every single one of their Blogger customers. Not a freakin' way.

 

After reading the thread title I end up scratching my head and asking the same question but thanks to seo ranter for clarifying the issue or is this even an issue, a concern maybe..

 

They don't own the content since they didn't created it, but they can take down your site at anytime if they don't like it.

 

They are not mad , if google will do this than oppsitions will start uploading abusing stuff than they will sue google . So google don't own anything hosted on their blogger service .

But are you the owner ?

If go in details then you will find that you loose many rights.

Further what will you do if some form xyz location takes your content and claim there that he or she is the owner?

It is good to feel I am the owner but be careful if you publish any thing in this type of public area you loose many power.

 

You are the owner of your content but not of your Blogger Blog as u use there services and apply to their ToS.
