My site, one day indexed the second day out

    I just launched a new site (proxy) and it was indexed by google in no more than 1 day and really received 40 uniques visitors in the first day ( yesterday) from Google. Today when I check my site is not indexed anymore.

    This really happens often ? I should mention that I didn't promoted the proxy, only one link placed on del.icio.us and a link on my other proxy.

    Is something wrong with my proxy ? http://snigh.com or this is a normal thing for google ?

    New sites get index, and de-index too often, I suggest you wait and meanwhile build some backlinks

    Such things happens with a brand new sites. I would suggest you to wait for a week or two and keep building backlinks. It will be back in the index, don't worry.

    It will be back, My image hosting website done that, It was there, Then it was gone for like a day when it was being reindexed ;) It'll come back :p

    Thanks all for the tips, I know that sites bounces but I was surprised that I received visits from google for the keywords that proxy receives in the first day and without any link building.

    This happens all the time. It is because this that our new posts in blogs receive some visit from google and after that it stays one week without visitors from google. I think google values the new sites more in the first day :)
