This guy is a fraud. He said my submission to Visual Link Directory was rejected because it violated the guidelines. But if you look at the Guidelines page of that directory, there aren't any guidelines given. None at all.
I thought about asking for a charge back, but since it's only $1.25, I figure it's more trouble than it's worth. I still don't know why my submission was rejected. It's a totally non-commercial religious site, with no ads and nothing to sell, and submitted to the Religion category. If this guy won't accept that, then what will he accept. Anyway, he lost any chance that I will ever submit to any of his other directories.
Billy there was no payment made. these are paid directories. please give me your paypal transaction # and I will surely check my paypal again. PS. It's real simple to make a paypal chargeback. I welcome you to do so as well if you REALLY made a payment.
thecommercialdirectory.com has been live since at least April 2006 ( http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.thecommercialdirectory.com) visuallinkdirectory.com has been live since at least July 2006 (http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.visuallinkdirectory.com) bakersfieldwebring has been live since at least May 2005 ( http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.bakersfieldwebring.com) The original owner of the first 2 is a good friend of mine and we are not moving the domain or hosting. So these are both older directories with a number of backlinks. The last one is a domain I bought with good history anda few backlinks. I get quite a few paid submissions a month.... quality SEOs know a quality directory. These need a bit more work and they will be very powerful directories and you will feel bad you didn't submit when I only asked about $1. As well, these days, when there are THOUSANDS of free directories, with tons of spam and junk, directories like these are a breath of fresh air.

Thanks for looking into this. I just edited out the details of the Paypal transaction. And I'll send you a PM in a few minutes. I also apologize for what I posted earlier. I was irritated by the rejection because I didn't get the link, and also because the rejection email said it violated non-existent guidelines.
