Ive got a proxy and I want to get at least pagerank 1. Ive got no idea how to go about this. Please help Thanks, Unreal.
Page rank comes 100% from other sites linking to yours - so you'll need to get other sites to link to yours - and that may require buying links from other related sites.
Ok. Ive got quite a few hundred backlinks but unfortunatly not many of them show up in Google. I might consider buying some links aswell. Most of my links are from proxy link sites and proxy discussion groups.
PageRank is built mainly by inbound links otherwise known as backlinks however it is also built through the link structure of your own website however because its a proxy site there is not point diversing over your own link structure as there will only be a couple of pages, just ensure each page links to each other. You need to target other websites related to your website and some how create a link on their website, whether this be through link exchances or blog posting or proxy subimission just ensure you build links. It is best if you build links on other websites with higher PR the higher the PR the more link juice you will receive therefore the increased chance of ensuring yourself a PR in the next update. If you want to buy backlinks then ensure they are related to your website, and ensure you do not buy too many in short space of time or else they wont be counted. I advise not to waste your money buying them.
i would start with the free ways to get backlinks before buying your way into it. -Submitting it to directories. -Write a few articles and submit them to articledirectories -look for some blogs with do follow and comment on them (relevant) -find some other forums, post real post/answers and add the link in your sig -create a video (or copy one that is in the public domain) and submit it to the videosites with your url in the message -social bookmarking...use something like socialmarker.com to add it to as much sites/profiles The next require some study if you do not have any programming skills but are worth it. Some are for pagerank others just for traffic -make a toolbar and submit it to software directories -make a facebook widget -other web2.0 that allow widgets -vista widget (gadgets they call it...and yes i know it's M$) If you follow these it will build you more pr and traffic.
Its best to get links from "relevent" websites and sites that share the same topic and key words as yours.
well pagerank is not worth anything anymore so I don't know why you would want to build one, A lot of people do not care about page rank anymore, including me, but I would say get relative links from similar sites which have something to do with the subject at hand on your site, plus directory submissions, article submissions, social networking.
An easy way to improve pagerank is - you can get them for free and some internal pages have PR3 - 7 (that I've found). It's a great way to build links, and you can even make money online with blog comments. Try it out!
I am not too sure but if they were all page rank 0 links i would say no more than 25 perhaps. Its hard to say really, i would not build more than 20 a day personally. However i try to target pagerank 5 and 6 links so that i do not need as many.
Here are a few ideas: submit articles to article directories wit high PR, comment on high PR blogs with do-follow, submit to do-follow social sites, try to get a link from .edu or .gov site.
