Currently on adsense, not happy. Thinking about adbrite

Im currently on adsense and never get over $2 per day from 10,000 page impressions. .Apart from a couple days ago where I got $7 for some reason but apart from that I have never got abve $2. Also from what I remember from the last time i checked my stats I get 40,000 uniques a month. I am very unhappy as people with the same impresisons as me have told me they make $30 a day which s very believable.

I want to know if people think switching to adbrite would be a good idea? Im currently on around $70 since my last cheque from google so will wait to it reaches $100 then if you guys think I will get more money from adbrite I may switch to them. What do you think? Have you had any experience in a similar situation? +rep to helpful answers, thanks.

You don't have to switch to adbrite as you can use both adbrite and google adsense on the same page and website. Try using both and see what happens. Adbrite isn't as good as adsense but is still worth a try.

in a while your visitors will get to see the same ads over and over again, if they don't care about the ad they won't click it.
you'll get the same problem with adbrite using them for a while i think :(

would adsense not get pissed and lower my CTR or something? If not It might be worth a try I guess, but I would rather keep my advertising methods the same, because I dont want to have to half the amount of adsense I currently have, then I would make less.

Thanks for the good posts guy +rep!

I don't think adbrite interferes with adsense. You'd have to ask them to be sure. But from what I know you can have google adsense on the same pages as adbrite.

Indeed you can, as long as the AdSense and AdBrite units don't look the same. I get round this issue by using AdSense for content in combination with AdBrite inlines. You really can increase your earnings by doing just that.

I would be happy with $2-$7 everyday with only 10,000 page impressions a day.
As long as Google keeps paying you I would keep using them.

Using both adsense and adbrite is not good. Although I've seen a lot of sites using 2 different ads but it's against in adsense TOS. This might be ground for you to be ban on adsense.

The problem with adbrite is it takes 3 months for your 1st payout and they do not pay as well as adsense for MOST keywords.

Adsense only have the requirement that any ads you add to your site do not look like the Google ads so as to confuse Google customers.

My recommendation is try a few services and see how you go and what works for you. Have a look at www.publisherspot.com for quality objective reviews on ad networks etc...

Decided to stick with adsense but ad adbrite full page ads once every 24 hours and adbrite's inline. So far working wll, making more money off adbrite than adsense..

I would stick with adsense for the most part. You are unlikely to ever get $7/day from adbrite- even if it only hapens rarely with Adsense.
Have you considered pop-ups/unders? - they are not only less intrusive than the Adbrite full page ads as they dont cover up the content, but usually pay higher too.

I recommend to use Adbrite and/or Kontera and/or Chitika with AdSense for additional income.
