    No you can't remove it unless you have your own domain for your blog

    There was a way, but you shouldn't do it...blogger is free, why not support them? :)

    I think removing the top bar violates the TOS.

    I just heard that it is good to remove it so people will stay on your website and not click the "next blog" button on it.

    I agree that you should leave it up there to support them, but if you insist on hiding it..........

    Paste this:
    #b-navbar {
       height:0px;
       visibility:hidden;
       display:none
       }
    Code (markup):
    between these tags:
    <style type="text/css">
    </style>
    Code (markup):

    The given earlier in this theard doesn't work well in many themes and templates and many a times leaves a gap space in place of NAV BAr.http://forums.digitalpoint.com/images/smilies/frown.gif
    :(

    Use the following to fully eliminate all the gap and the nav bar fully for once and for all:http://forums.digitalpoint.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
    :)

    go to the template section====> then edit html.

    then add this css code within the head section :

    #navbar-iframe {height:0px; display:none;}

    and if you are concerned about violating TOS while doing this ..don't be because it doesn't conflict with their TOS..
    refer :http://labnol.blogspot.com/2007/06/maybe-it-ok-to-remove-blogger-navbar.html

    It's very simple to remove the nav bar at the top of Blogger, even when hosted at Blogspot.

    Just go to Layout/edit html at your blog and at the top of the template HTML you will see the blog template title and the variable definition text as seen below.
    Simply add the text shown in red below. Preview your results and if your happy click save.

    -----------------------------------------------
    Blogger Template Style
    Name: Minima
    Date: 26 Feb 2004
    Updated by: Blogger Team
    ----------------------------------------------- */

    #navbar-iframe {
    display: none !important;
    }

    /* Variable definitions

    Most of the blogspot bloggers have either removed or hided top bar. I don't think hiding topbar is against google tos.I feel more than 50% of blogspot bloggers have removed top bar in their blogs.
