Please give me suggestions in improving my site

This is my first attempt building a site from scratch, i designed the layout,sliced it, sketched the mascot, as well as customized the cms to suit my needs, please give me suggestions of improving the site and how to place ads, im really a newbie in building sites

i like it

the colors work well

but when you hover over latest games on the bottom right
the link doesn't work

actually either do the links in the footer area

I like the colors and layout. My only suggestion would be to shrink the header a bit. You don't have much content above the fold and that can hurt a website. That's my 2 cents.

 

header you mean to say that logo ? i see ill add more content i had a few idea, will be adding that soon

 

your pictures are not colourful , you must draw them in much zoom size.

 

I have it, ill re-render it again, some of them i purposefully reduced the resolution so that i get faster download time

 

Not much to comment, it looks great but if its me, i'll add another ad between the first and the second content..
