They'll probably laugh at you. I don't think it's real Chinese. I'm sure I've seen these jokes on another forum. A basic guide (please correct if wrong): Hello - ni hao How are you? - ni hao ma? I am good - wo hen hao I am bad - wo hen huai angel - tian shi devil - mo gui (it can be interpreted in different way) good night - wan an stupid - er bai wu (literally, it means "1 in 250" or something along those lines, but it's used to mean stupid) good evening - wan shang hao enjoy your meal - ni chi hao good - hao bad - huai thank you - xiexie (although, someone Chinese say it should be spelt xie-xie and others xie xie) love - ai For now, that's all I remember. By the way, there are many different Chinese dialects and even people who say speak Mandarin (simplified Chinese) but live in Malaysia might not understand what by "er bai wu" or "ni chi hao" mean.
That's just a joke....i saw it on some joke site. My mon speak english that way, she 've got big big accent. She was so piss when i show her this ryan_uk's list is real chinese. However those are too formal and no one talk that way. At least not me..when i have time i can make a list of how "real" chinese talk
