“Cost Per Day” ad network

Discussion in 'Pay Per Click Advertising' started by TextAdMarket, Jun 12, 2008.

There aren’t too many advertising networks that use the “cost per day” model. Most use clicks, impressions, or actions to measure how much you get paid, but if you are looking to try something new and unique, I invite you to visit http://www.TextAdMarket.com

TextAdMarket is a site I founded to provided text ads similar to google adsense, but also very different. As a publisher, you set the “price per day” that you want to charge for your ad space. After that, you can have it “fixed” or you can have it follow our “market value”. Market value means the price will either rise or fall every midnight based on demand for your advertising space. Simple supply and demand techniques.

For more information about the site, I have a good outline of info on the homepage, but feel free to post your questions here.

    Thanks,
    Ben - TextAdMarket

    1) Any restrictions on number of sites, or site types?
    2) How many text links will be placed? The sample showed 3, but are there different formats (728x60 or 160x600) that can be used?

No restriction on the number of sites. Limit to 4 banners at a time per a single web page though. No adult, illegal, or warez sites.

There are several different formats available. See http://www.textadmarket.com/samples.php for the full list. They vary from 1 adspot to 5 adspots depending on size. Tomorrow evening I'll be releasing a 120x600 format, as well.

Cool...you might want to create a FAQ for questions like this.

I have a help section with FAQs already. I'm not entirely sure if the 'adult site' question is in the FAQ, but it is definitely outlined in the TOS. I'll update the help FAQ if its not in there.

Yes, I have several advertisers and publishers buying and selling. Checkout prices and listings here: http://www.textadmarket.com/buy.php (no need to register or login to see those and the site stats)

It looks pretty cool. But it might be better from what I can see, you have to request payment when you get to the appropriate amount. Wouldn't be easier if you could get payed automatically without having to "ask" for it?

    Yes, PTC sites are allowed.

The automatic payment thing isn't necessary yet because the site is so new. But, yes, I'll definitely have that on there once it is needed.

I really like it but I'm not going to use it yet, because my traffic is so low, people aren't probably going to advertise on my site because they'd then be paying money without success. I only get around 1,500-2,000 pageviews/week.

Yes, I have several buyers on the site. Make sure you leave a good description of where your banner is being shown. Generally, if they can't find the banner for themselves, they won't trust the site and wont buy.
