    It's still going UP ??

It was only 7.5K around 24 hours ago, now its around 20.

I hope the relevant wms hop to it - that's circulation we're all losing ! :)

    Cheers,

    JL

I am a little confused at what is happening here. How is it that the "ad_network.php file needs updating" is being picked up by Google? Is that actually being displayed online or through the spidering?

It was/is visible on co-op sites as long as the ad_network.php code is not updated.

Most sites have updated it and it's no longer visible on sites but Google has not yet updated the SERPS to reflect it. You will see this when you browse the list of sites.

This should go DOWN over time as more WMs update their files.

This is clearly not accurate...look at the cache dates on the pages listed there...at least 50% are from the last two days. All they are doing right now are pointing links back to the adnetwork page on DP.

Can the people here who are moderating the posts send another email out to these sites (automatically of course)?

So, anyone trying to guage the effectiveness of the network should hold onto their horses for a few weeks while this all gets worked out. There should be a weight drop for those sites that haven't updated because five ads for updating the php file doesn't help anyone.
