Sometimes I have seen site vanished from Google then come back later. It may be one of those cases.

Also worth knowing: The page used to have a PageRank 7/10 and now it has a gray bar.

I don't think because of this reason Google panelized SEOMoz.

How could you control others linking to your website ?

So true, they are not forcing people to link. It is a users choice. Check the page again it is showing page rank for me.

    as the article says

it might be because of the link back which they gave in forum of badges!!

G many times takes things just too far I guess

No one was penalized lol - search for "web 2.0 awards" and you can see your site is there!

It is not the right page that comes up, the one that should come up is:

    http://www.seomoz.org/web2.0

Up until today it had a Google PageRank of 7/10 and ranked on the 1st page of Google for web 2.0

I am a member of SEOmoz and the page shows nothing for PR if I am logged in or not. It does however show a ton of back links.

I went to google and searched, then found the page, then clicked it...and seomoz is giving me a server not found for me...might that influence how google sees it?
