So I'm just now starting with azoogle and decided to try the Latin Dating Niche. I came up with 10 keywords relating to that Niche with an average CPC of $1.42. Questions: 1. Is 10 Keywords enough to get started? 2. Is $1.42 average CPC good to start? (I looked it up on https://adwords.google.com/select/TrafficEstimatorSandbox) 3. So basically, what I do is add these keywords to my adwords campaign and make an ad? 4. How should the URL for the ad work? (I heard that I should get a new domain for each offer, so I'm going to register one that sounds good for Latin dating. AND, I can't use the direct affiliate link from azoogle in google because it's against their TOS) So should I make a simple landing page that when people click my ad they are directed to my homepage, let's say latindating.com for example (that's not really it) and they have to click again from my site to get to the offer? ANY help is appreciated as I am a complete newbie. THANKS!
Congrats newbie on testing out affiliate marketing... I would strive to have more than 10 keywords to test out... you can use the free Adword Tool to dig out more keywords at the link below: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal If you do only use 10 keywords, make sure they're laser targeted to the 'Latin Dating' market. What you can do is buy 1 domain... (ex. DatingOffers.com)... and then create sub-domains for each niche dating offer you do, so it would look like this: Latin.DatingOffers.com Asian.DatingOffers.com Jewish.DatingOffers.com etc....
Thank you! Now lets say I have Latin.DatingOffers.com, when someone clicks on my adword ad do they go to my site and then have to click something else again? Should I make a simple landing page or I remember hearing about "direct linking." Thanks once again
I would create a simple LP, that blends (looks very similiar) to the offer you're sending the customer over too. If you don't want to create a LP, you can send them direct on Yahoo Search. If you're using Google, then you HAVE to create an LP... and make sure it has alot of content on it with the keywords the customer is searching for... as well as website pages (about us, contact, privacy, etc.). Also, since the payout is most likely low on ur offer ($3-$4), you will probably want to stick to just promoting it on Google Content, Yahoo, MSN, Adbrite, etc. I don't recommend you testing out Google Search, until you know what converts.
A CPC of $1.42 is way to high. Most dating offers pay $3-$4 so at $1.42 you will need to convert at least 35% of your visitors. If you have money to blow and want to get data as fast as possible then sure keep that high, but if you are running a tight budget you should lower your bids and do some research to find some less competitive keywords.
1. Choose the offer which you think you will promote. 2. See the conversion criteria, when the offer converts (1st page , 2nd page, complete profile etc.) and with your commonsense and data from affiliate manager, calculate a rough conversion % before hand. Using that estimate how much average you can expect per click for that offer with targetted traffic. 3. To have a 50 - 100% profit, you need clicks at less then half the average earnings per click. 4. Say your average earnings expected per click is 1$, you need clicks at around 50 cents to make profit. So set your max CPC at adwords a bit higher than that. In this case it will be 60 cents. 5. NOW you have to do research and findout where will you get decent and targetted traffic at 60 cents max CPC. which keywords ? content network ? placement targetting ? what else ? research
me having some problem with capcha and not being able to open another thread so wanna ask one question here.........hope the OP doesnt mind........... "hi guys, As a thumb of rule highly targetted keywords convert the best. i am promoting an offer from azoogle on search and i wanted to know if semi generics also convert well? eg. "acai free trial" will convert well for acai trials but does "acai benefits" also convert well for acai trials?"
