For some reason lots of people are promoting their websites with a pagerank predicition.

For you goes the same, PR7 predicted directory, all according to the iwebtool prediction tool I assume. When I take a closer look at your backlinks it shows this information to me:

Total of about 988 backlinks included with 117xPR0 8xPR1 21xPR2 17xPR3 10xPR4 4xPR5 1xPR6 links, when I look at this chart from compar: pagerank calculation or fill in this links information into thinkbling pr calculation I'm coming to a pr4 website. Sorry to share this information, but IMO your website is not going to be a pr7 website.

Anyway back to your directory, good luck with running and promoting your webdirectory and good luck with reviewing 2156 websites.

    you are wrong!

    1) you rely on those PR from backlinks which are old, what if they got higher?

    2) site has 2,584 backlinks not 988

http://www.busybits.com - all pending sites have been reviewed, so this is a good opportunity to submit your sites.

However if you submitted before and your site was not accepted, you may consider the $10 lifetime inclusion fee.

Why? beside of the PR, this is an actually visited directory: Visitors since 18-Oct-2005: 852,503 (over 4k/day) and alexa rank: 45,402 ( no manipulation )

This is because many webmasters have a lot of low quality websites, they just copy&paste some texts, put an image and all else is just adsense, nothing useful, nothing new.

I previously submitted my site (see sig) and I don't see it added. Just curious, why?

Anyway, are you saying that if I pay the $10 you will then add me?

I can't tell you exactly, but usually the reason for reject is too many ads and too few useful content

It is okay that my site was not accepted. There are plenty of other directories out there. But, don't send me spam emails. I received one today. I think sending spam emails to promote your affiliates to sites that were submitted and not accepted is unprofessional. IMO.

And, the fact that if I pay you $10, then my ads and 'lack of content' won't bother you, is also ridiculous. You should have the same review process for free and paid submissions. If you don't accept my site for free than you shouldn't accept is for a paid submission either if you want to maintain the 'quality' directory you are trying to create.

no, because it must be a difference between paid and free, otherwise the fee will be like donation

With other directories, the paid submission is for a featured or sponsored listing to get more exposure or to get a faster review as opposed to free submissions. However, the review process is and should be the same. What you are doing is basically saying, "I really don't want your site for my directory because it does not meet the qualifications, however, if you pay me $10, I will include it anyway." I may be the only one that sees it this way, but it makes no sense to me. Plus, I don't even see a paid feature in your directory. You also don't accept adult sites per your guidelines, will you accept those as well if they pay you $10 the way you are willing to accept my 'high ads, low content' site for a fee???

The fee would not be like a 'donation' as you state, it would be for additional exposure in the directory or faster review, one or the other. Atleast it should be.

I suppose we can agree to disagree. Anyway, no hard feelings. Best of luck with your directory. :)

I was considering purchasing for our directories but there's over 80:eek: on the page

    http://www.busybits.com/Computers/Internet/

And I'm showing a PR5, but I understand some datacenters are off. Regardless 80 links is pretty ridiculous. Would you consider breaking up to about 20 a page then featured links might be worth it?
