Can a 20-article site make $5/day?

If I created a 20-article, all unique, content site and got a few backlinks to it (maybe one Digg backlink per article, Stumble, and a few paid links), could it bring in a consistent $5/day? I was thinking of things like dating advice, fantasy baseball advice, etc. This content will be mostly everlasting too. Possible?

 

why not/ If you have good content and good backlinks and people like your article I think this is possible It would be a mine of gold, to spot hundreds of sites of this kind

If its top quality and you work heavily on linking and promoting the site, it is definatly possible

Don't you want to work further , why you are limited to 20 articles . Yes they can make good money i they are really new and genuine . But they will not for work long time because of high competition , so you need to update them in few period of time .

 

$5 a day with a 20 page site is possible. I've made more than $5 a day on a 5 page site simply because the home page ranked well for a keyword that got traffic. It really comes down to how well you rank and how much traffic that keyword gets, not how many pages you have. Although more pages, obviously gives you more chances to rank.

The problem with this method is scalability. The more sites you try to make, the more difficult it is to get those to rank well enough to make $5 a day each. I think you would do better to focus on fewer sites, at more $$ per day each, then expand once you hit your goal.

 

Very much possible . But how long you can think you would maintain that $5/day for a 20 page site ?

 

The key question is, in the long run, is it worth the effort? What if Google starts to discount these thin sites? What next?

 

Hopefully forever, because my niches are everlasting (like weightlifting, dating, etc.)

 

You will need a decent traffic to earn $5 / day with AdSense.
20 articles just won't be enough in my opinion...

I have one site with 18 articles, all written by me, that hits $5/day regularly. The niche is very specialized. So you can build a site that gets a consistent revenue stream in that range.

Of course, I have a dozen sites that make less than $5/month all together... Guess which site is my favorite!

So everything either depends upon your ability to get traffic or on the topic of the niche.

 

Easily. 1 article could bring $5 a day, easily. Read, learn, and work at it, you will get there. It just takes time.

I have single pages making $10 per day each, so it is absolutely possible for 20 pages to make $5+.

 

yes it is very possible, matter of fact I did it recently. I bought a new site (2 months ago) and started writing few articles (50+) and working on link bulding and driving the right traficc to it, and so far I am almost at $5 a day only from the new site. it was just a test and it worked but this it not my main income of adsense
but again, if it is your only site, it is not fair to look up to $5 a day, be more optimistic
