Can anyone suggest a good alternative to Paypal?

    Hi all,

I'm new to getting paid online and I have a Paypal account but I'm not 100% happy. Can anyone suggest a good alternative that is maybe as popular as Paypal. What I want to do is receive money for ads and paid reviews and be able to put that into my bank account in Europe. Thanks

There are few other good payment processors such as Moneybookers and 2CO. You need to check them for your requirement. MB is good IMO as there is no any risk of chargeback and you can withdraw funds from your MB account to your bank account.

Thank you Don. I've seen MB mentioned around here a fair bit but a lot of the people who ask about MB seem to be based in other countries and have issues with them or PP etc due to location. Thanks for taking the time to comment, I appreciate it.

Go with Moneybookers, it's probably the second best.

MoneyBookers is crap, and what you said about No risk for chargeback is wrong.
I know several including myself that have had problems with them in the past, and they do chargebacks also.

There have been many threads regarding PayPal alternatives and to be honest, there is no PayPal alternative. No one can beat or be like PayPal.

The PayPal alternatives are not used very much. MoneyBookers is not that bad when you verify your bank account, etc. But most people here deal with PayPal...

Matt, are you looking for a payment processor to plug into your blog, or something to use seperate from the site just for money transfers, kind of like an online western union?

I really like the no changebacks feature, but to be honest, MB is not that popular.
Most of the users here accept PayPal only.

The "no chargeback feature" doesn´t exist with MB. They claim they don´t reverse payments. But if I want to cheat you this is not a problem: just login from a different IP then your standard IP, send the payment and later contact MB for an unauthorized transaction and they will pay back. Happened to me twice unfortunately.

But as PayPal does chargebacks much easier MB definitely is a good alternative to PayPal. There is also Alertpay like often said before, a reliable company for sure.

These are payment processors I´d suggest for this kind of payments.

But you can also go for ecurrencies like e-gold. But here I´d suggest to stay away from e-gold because you will loose MUCH money from exchanging it to real cash because of VERY HIGH fees. Here I´d go with one of the following ecurrencies:

    Liberty Reserve
    Pecunix
C-gold (very similar site to e-gold but much more reliable)
    Webmoney

The good thing in case of ecurrencies compared to payment processors is they are final. Once you have been paid, you will stay paid. None of this do any kind of chargebacks, doesn´t matter what reason the buyer tells.
