Check out my post on craigslist http://orlando.craigslist.org/sof/712190316.html So here's the deal: I DO NOT want you to do the project if: You're under 18 You are are a FULL time student You CANNOT do my project FULL time You're an idiot You're programming skill is at intermediate level You're trying to do my project in between 5 other projects You have another full time job and will only do mine part time You cannot be reached by telephone It takes you 1-2 days to answer your email You're a scammer You cannot deliver high level of customer service You are not willing to go the extra mile to deliver excellent customer service I actually don't know why I'm posting here because there are soo many people here on DP who are borderline scammers- as in, they have a little skill, charge almost nothing, sometimes they do a good job, sometimes they don't, they just try and pick up extra jobs here and there, and IF they are good AND cheap they get soo swamped with work they deliver bad customer service (haven't we all seen that enough?). Extra points for actually calling me on the phone and tell me why you should do the project. I don't expect people to work for digital point prices all the time but I need it done right and someone who can devote their full attention to this. If you want this job, don't just post "PM me the details" I want you to post me your qualifications, how you handle things, how you treat your clients, your references, your work portfolio and why I should choose you. I know this is going against how digital point usually works but I'm giving it a try.
Hi Diego, what you said is mostly true and from the way your going at this you seem like you're willing to pay top $ for this project... Have you thought about posting this job on freelancer website where other bigger jobs go... Once again I agree with you, here at DP we've become so competitive that both the designers and programmers work seem like it's worth pennies... I guess the reason for this is, once an individual has enough skills and knowledge in a certain area, they leave DP to pursue a career in the real world... Anyways, good luck finding someone with those attributes...
I also agree. That's why I'm not taking jobs that offers almost nothing to gain. Anyway, I'm interested with the job but I'm can't do it full time and you mentioned that you don't want Programmers who are already committed. Good luck finding someone. Cheers
