learn php or perl?

hello
I want learn php after see how strong and usefull
but also I saw many website made by perl as imdb.com

and thinking on perl

so what your advice for me ? learn php or perl?
if I want learn boht with whihc one should I start

all depend on what you want to do ... if its web dev. and you want something fast go with php , i'm not a pro in perl but did some of it and i know its harder to learn perl
