I guess you have enough knowledge in anchor text - I try to use my keywords in anchor text in a meaningful way. So that page content and anchor text has similarities -otherwise Search Engines are enough skillful to point out unwanted links
if you have 100 inbound links to your site that sells lamp shades and all links user the text "lamp shades", you will appear quite high in Google for the search term "lamp shades". simple!
