Where to get sponsors for my blog contest

I am making contest at my blog www.wmrzone.com

I need sponsors who can give prizes to winners.

I am trying to find people who can sponsors this.
Any idea what is best way to find sponsors for my blog.

 

The thing is you need to ask people out. You cannot expect sponsors to come to you.

Only the Crying baby gets the milk. So ask bloggers in your same niche and hopefully you might find some good sponsors.....

I asked some bloggers. Most of them can give advertising space on their sites.
Some can give domains...

I need more.
Any idea what should I do?

 

I would talk to you about it! What is the best way to have a conversation: msn, icq, phone, PM?

Try and contact webmasters on this forum with similar niches to yours, Aks If they are willing to sponor your competition. Make sure you offer something for them though!

 

I can add their name in sponsor list.
They will get some popularity.

 

For my contest which is still ongoing http://www.profitbaron.com/2008/05/28/the-contest-where-everyone-is-a-winner/ I contacted most of the sponsors asking for donations.

However, I was contacted by a few offering donations. But your best bet is to go out and ask people are they willing to donate to your contest.
