i see in freelance sites like getafreelancer.com projects are few.. but service providers are too many..

 

javascript is for the effects u mentioned. javascript is NOT JAVA. The similarity ends in the name.
PHP is mostly used in consumer Internet, and the Big implementations have mostly been in Big Sites like Yahoo.. SO if you need good salary for PHP skills, you need to do extreme programming and get a job in yahoo, facebook, or some venture funded start ups.

BUT Most of the MNC it companies like Accenture, CA, CSC, IBM, HP still develop and maintain large scale enterprise applications built on JAVA platform and thus they get paid well. A solution architect for J2EE will get a MUCH higher salary in these companies.

 

Surf 4 fun, $1000 / month is not much at all. I think it's just ok, it all depends what you want in life. If all you want is 1 bedroom and food for table, probably it's much, maybe. Please read my other posts and don't be ignorant as you are used too, the same goes for that colonial thinking guy who run from his poor country to wealthy one in order to hire slaves in other. It's hard to use freelance sites today because, yes, providers are way too many, however so are the jobs too. That's why people leave them and go to stable job, cause they are better only if you are in top of that thousands of coders.

and Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition

can vb 2008 express edition work for creating web automation applications (like automatic form filling signup login post etc)
is .net framework needed to be installed for vb2008 express edition also|??

I am not into .net, have never worked on VB even in college.. so I am not too sure..
But from what I can gather Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition is an IDE, so you can use it to create applications.

And since it is an IDE, it means you can use to it create Application using Visual basic .Net .. The Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition is an Interface or tool like photoshop which can be used to create VB .net apps..


VB.net programmers also get paid well.
Microsoft is very good in partnerships and they have partnered with many IT vendors.. and hence there is always work for VB.net programmers as well

In an earlier organisation where I worked, we developed a similar application on .net framework as well as J2EE

Someone with 3-4 years can get as much as 8-9 lakhs.. even more if you are from a very good college.. (IIT will get paid better than NIT and Anna Uni Types who will get better than Other Good State Colleges)

The reason I came to this thread in the first place was because most of the Ads that I see on my sites come from Affiliate marketers.
I am not sure of their conversions, so I don't want to put an ad that looks like Adsense on the same page.

Should I take them to another page where I can presale?
EG: I have a high quality page that attracts visitors for Weight Loss Diet.
Nobody has ever bought a loseyourbellyweight clickbank product from that page (I need to check again though.. I hardly check Cb account)

But most of the google ads are for those products and I get google ecpm from adsense.

The page is not optimised to sell ebooks..
I even rank for Insurance Quotes GodDamnit (Excuse my blasphemy).. but I am afraid to walk away from Adsense..

Yes, people make that much, you have been asked lot of times not to post your negativity and so on in this thread. Webwork even said that he make about $50/day with that service.

each guy can submit to 500 directory in like 3-4 days.. or more..

Some lie for sure is going on (autosubmission) if people want to submit to thousands of dirs for $xx. Some work under boss, some work for themselfs. On forum last option applicable. Anyway $900 / month very average money even in 3rd word, no matter what rumors say.
