Best Ad format

Wats the best ad format of adsense. is referrals better from content?

 

For us, definitely content.

On one of our sites, for example, earnings from content were in the ballpark of $1,500 and earnings from referrals on the same site were $1.35!

Content is better.
I have never made a single $ from referrals, although I have made some thousands of $ from Adsense for content.

Especially 336x280 is the better ad format with the higher CTR.

i have removed all referrals

for the formats - i use the 3 ( three ) Google-published "most successful formats"
I get definitely most $ with the double-unite ATF 336x280

 

Hi, for one of my sites, link units seems to do better, even needing that extra click, it seems to work for some reason.

 

Yes link units works better if they are placed well in top and below header than they look like more option of that sites. Content is king and adsense work best on that . In referrals you are not guaranteed that his or her website will be accepted and how much you will make .

 

Referrals haven't worked for me at all. I've tried them everywhere, from the bottom of the blog to a flashing big at at the top. But.... nope.
My link unit at the top converts pretty well though.

 

My best ad formats are
160X600
250X250,336X280
468X60

These are the best ones where you can earn high ,

Leaderboard and other ad formats do n't earn much for you...

wut about search...any scope of improving revenue from that?

 

You need to test different ad placements and sizes. It's not as simple as just picking a type of ad that appeals to people. It needs to fit in with the site.

I've read many Ebooks and lecture videos from Adsense guru's and they all say the 336x280 wrapped with text.

 

it`s a good question, but it depends from many factors: layouts,content,Adsense ad`s size,color,placement on you page etc!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every web site is personal case / Adsense revenues and there is no universal Adsense format for it. You have to try different Adsense formats and understand which format is better for this site only this can help you to choose the BEST ADSENSE FORMAT FOR YOUR SITE AND GIVE YOU THE MAX. Retangular is the best format.
According to the data collection, standard banner is the lowest click rate among all the format, and 336x280 do provide a highest click rate
