Nothings is crazy in Holland But I woulden't wan't the rest of the world to be that liberal about these sort of things. It woulden't exactly be pleasant walking right into a couple making love when walking your dog. Not to mention, if you where going to the park to have a picnic..
1. It's Amsterdam, you have local families with children walking down the road, their windows filled with prostitutes, and they don't see anything wrong with it. 2. How many people would go to Amsterdam if it weren't for the sex and drugs? I don't think too many stag nights would really appreciate the museums and culture. Stuff like this is required for the city to remain a thriving tourist destination. 3. Dog owners are unhappy, who cares. Not that I'm for or against public sex in parks, just putting things into perspective.
That's holland for you. To be fair, Amstrerdam is a great place to go, though I am a little prudish, so would not be partaking in some of the things on offer there
