No animal products, huh? That leaves you with soy and... soy. Just search for some soy protein shakes either in liquid form or powder. That is the easiest and quickest way to get a good amount of protein. There are quite a few other sources of protein too. Tip.. For breakfast have oatmeal which has a decent amount of protein and mix soy protein in. I used to do this all the time with a vanilla flavored soy protein. Makes for an excellent start to the day, high in protein and good tasting. Nuts have a decent amount of protein such as almonds, they are high in fat but it's good fats..
Vegetarian Protein All beans have a lot of protein. Most vegetarians have an unhealthy diet from my experience. They tend to eat a lot of processed foods. I like eating baby limas, black-eyed peas, lentils and chili beans. Boiled eggs are a high source of protein. I usually eat 3 to 4 boiled eggs and take the yolk out of 2 to cut down on cholesterol. Substitute beans and egg whites for the protein he suggest. Bill Phillips is a great trainer that I have worked with for special promos. He is selling supplements which are fine but not necessary.
Work yourself out, do weight training, benching, Military press, curls, squat, etc. Increase amount of weight only when you feel it is necessary like some people do it every 2-3 weeks or so... You'll get very strong and muscular, do 3 sets of 13 or until you feel tired.
If you can get half and half and replace it for milk, also choose cream soups and gravies when you can. Butter and salad dressings are a good choice for you. Small but more freq meals are the best choice, and like someone said, eating before going to bed would be good.
Thanks both of you. I totally forgot about vegetable protein. They have that in shakes. All the shakes I had remembered were soy protein based, but they also have vegetable based (I know soy is a vegetable...). As for eggs, they are high in protein, but I don't eat then either. Never really liked eggs.
Their are many nutrients but best tip from my side . In morning just have one or two bananas with glass of milk daily . This will help you stay health and may be you gain wait .
Just read the label when choosing products. Folks I train have allergies with chicken, MSG, and Peanuts. We read everything due to the fact companies will add fillers for taste or to add volume to a product. The front labels will read 100% "........." when you scan the back it will list of half of page of items. We have been given alot xyience products for energry and have liked the results thus far.

I bench press 425+, I do 600+ pounds on shrugs, I dead lift more than that. I curl 170 for reps.
