6 months left for Bush in office, which is not enough for Iran to develop nuclear weapons, could it be "taking the chance now" before its gone with Bush?

lets wait and see if Bush will receive new messages from God, but I do not think USA will spread to Iran now too, will be hard, even if it was a "limited strike" , to do a limited strike, you should be prepared for the worse, and I do not think USA is prepared with the mess in Iraq, and in Afghanistan.

Olmert is being pressured by the likud to do this. It isnt a coincidence that suddenly these trumped up charges of him accepting money from an american citizen has suddenly been brought up;) . Either he sharpens his talk or hes booted out of office. Dont you guys just love politics lol.

Lets see, if there will be a war, what lies US will use to justify expanding the war to Iran. I guess US can go with "nuclear weapons"

WW3 could happen if Bush's evil twin McNasty gets into office. Then we're all doomed!

They are all sellouts. Ron Paul is the ONLY genuine candidate that will enable REAL change. The rest are just lapdogs of the same owner. Shameful that the greatest country in the world has been sold to pieces and lost its righteous ways.

What Ron Paul would say. Something honest, meaningful and not traitorous.

Minister: Israel will attack Iran if it doesn't abandon nuclear program
JERUSALEM: Israel will attack Iran if it doesn't abandon its nuclear program, a Cabinet minister hoping to replace embattled Prime Minister Ehud Olmert was quoted Friday as saying.

    http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2008/06/06/africa/ME-GEN-Israel-Iran.php

JERUSALEM (CNN) -- An Israeli Cabinet member said the Jewish state "will attack" Iran if it doesn't halt its efforts to develop nuclear weaponry, according to a newspaper report Friday.
"If Iran continues its program to develop nuclear weapons, we will attack it," Deputy Prime Minister Shaul Mofaz told Yediot Ahronot, Israel's largest mass-circulation daily. "The window of opportunity has closed. The sanctions are not effective. There will be no alternative but to attack Iran in order to stop the Iranian nuclear program."

Mofaz's threat is one of the most explicit made against the Islamic Republic of Iran by a member of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's Cabinet.

That's basically a Declaration of War.

Israel better stop posturing. It's going to lead all of us to a bad place.

They would be bombed back into the stone age.

That's the Israeli double standard that frustrates so many people. It's not antisemitism, it's that Israel is a bully, and continues to act like one because the US will defend it at all costs.

Most Americans don't even realize that it is US, OUR taxpayer money that supports all of this madness and it has to stop before we dig our own grave.

what a ugly distortion of the situation.
Iran isn't a threat only on Israel.
Iran threatened on USA almost every time that she threatened on Israel.
Iran has rockets that can get to west-Europe and she even kidnapped 15 British soldiers not long ago.
Iran is a extreme-Islam, dictatorship and dangerous country.
This country with nukes is a disaster for the west.

we saw this kind of miscalculation and false claims from israel and the admin before iraq war. you seem to have a desperate pm and your politicians only see violence as the solution. iran is at worst is a few years away from any kind of weapon and i feel it should be left to a new adminestration.
bush should make it clear to israel that if they attack iran they are on their own untill the next president has a chance to use diplomacy first.
just a reminder if you do not know. It seems to me that there is no support for any military action against iran at this time in US
