Is There any category dump available for PhpLd 3.2.0 ?

I tried both the dump available for version 3.1.0 and I got 500 Internal Server Error everytime.

    Regards

After importing categories, you need to "Rebuild Category Cache" from ACP.

Let me know if you don't get it and need help. (PM me)

Help. I've just updated from PHPLD 2.x to 3.1.0 and it incorporated previous categories but the subcategories don't work and I get an error 5000 when I click 'em. I've tried clicking 'rebuild category cache' but still doesn't work. I'm a beginner - any help out there??

I didn't find any friendly people when I used phpld on the 'support' side of things (probably 'cause I refused to pay even more for the support forum:D)...all I got was a bunch of arrogant dimwits. Now that I'm with a script that offer real support, I'm laughing.

You can type all the categories from dmoz.org into an excel file, and then save it as .csv and import to your database. It's not good to just use the same categories from others.

There seems to be a lot of confusion on this, so I thought I would clear it up...

You DO NOT have to pay for support after the the purchase of phpLD. Support for the script is always free. What you are paying for, if you want it, is access to the 'supporters' forum, where you have access to supporters only modifications and help and advice that go way beyond the phpLD script. I agree that there can be confusion between 'support' and 'supporters', but if you purchase the product, it is quite clearly explained what the difference is prior to checkout.

If you have a genuine problem with the script, you only have to contact one of the support guys at phpLD and you will get assistance.

    Bruce.

Others are thinking it so I'll ask, if there is no charge for support why does it say the following....

    Membership costs $10.

Tell me if I'm mistaken here?

ok in defense of phpld ( and yeah I know someone will red rep me but thats ok) yes they do ask that you join the private supporters forum for the paid version but I do know that they will answer questions for the paid version in the version 2 forum the private forum does give you more support plus access to other things

Why should anyone red you? All your doing is exactly the same as me and that's pointing out the truth. They do charge end of story, if they can get away with it and people are willing to pay for support that really should be free then that's their call.

I just can't stand it when they deny the fact they charge, I don't see any reason to lie.

I haven't a clue how the other scripts handle their support, however at eSyndiCat, when you purchase the pro version you receive access to the pro version forums at no additional charge.

One of the main reasons for this is that there are many nulled versions floating around that people use. We will not give support to questions in regards to the pro version when they are asked in the free forums area.

I know you probably never meant it but do try and refrain from hi-jacking threads with promotion of a script not related to the OP. If I can manage it I'm sure you can.
