How many BANS sites do you have...

.. and how long was it till they started making you decent money?

 

What do you mean by BANS sites? Is that sites banned from Google or something?

 

Does BANS stand for anything?

 

I have more than 10 BANS site.. however, only 20% of them are making real money.

 

I have a directory that has a category just for BANS site owners. Take a look at some of the designs people have come up with. If you drive some targeted traffic to your BANS site, and you have a good Niche, you can make some good money. The biggest problem is most owners dont do much to customize their templates. The standard templates that come with the script are very plain and are meant to be customized. In a way thats good for the few who do take the time to make their sites unique.

I have about 30+ BANS sites. Only 8 of them make any money..and only 1 makes up about 85% of my revenue. Honestly, I dont even know why the one does so well...luck of the draw i guess. I did put in more time (and its the oldest) on that site than any others.

NOTE: This is before ebay moved to ePN...now im making barely anything..

Ebay will be part of peperjam currently and they will develop and will give you analog of bans for free it seems, so I highly doubt if there is a need in bans in future

 

BANS are a waste of time. Just sign up with Ebay and get all the feeds & widgets you need to make a store/website for free.

 

BANS just makes the work easier . Or else you can make a site out of eBay feeds in 20 mins if you know a bit of PHP.

Infact BANS is for those who are not that techie.

It can only work if you have patience. Won't work with PPC. Organic traffic only

 

I have a little dozen but 20% of them are performing...for any reason.
One is doing really great in organic traffic, others have a hard time to take off...Don't know why exactly...

 

if you want more organic traffic you definitely need to add in more unique contents into your BANS sites, period.

 

Just use ebay and Amazon. You will waste your time otherwise. ebay and Amazon get all the buyer traffic and are trusted more than anything else.

 

Interesting, just came across this BAN sites. All the while I just knew the Wordpress can be installed with some plugins like WProbot to have these kind of sites.

 

I don't know people are still replying this thread. This thread is outdated and BANS sites don't work anymore.

The answer to your question is NO. The owners have abandoned it for some unknown reason. There is one member that has a fix in place for the newest ebay RSS change, but it you are serious about making money with EPN, you should go wordpress. There is a method that is similar to BANS sites using the wordpress plus phpBay that works wonders. I have many sites using this method and I promise it works. Anyone that uses it will tell you the same thing. PM me if you want more details.
