Well your administrators should stop doing inframe adsense module. I have read everything on the private boards (Gold members) (Silver members). We have a co-worker under us "Turkish resident" also working with fast search (http://www.fastsearch.com/) company now a company owned by Bill Gates "Microsoft". I have seen many many MFA owners that are turks. Also some Turkish web masters are stealing lots of peoples work. The russian guy who attacks to your website is displeased.

You could stop the attack but your hosting provider is not good enough to handle such problems as far as I could see. Radore ?

Inframe AdSense module? We don't even have AdSense on the site :) There was some RSS glitch about private forums but we fixed it later. You can find people stealing other people's work everywhere on the net, I don't understand why r10 should be the target to those who are displeased. That's not an excuse at all.

Radore sucks, yes. Unfortunately, we have a contract with them. I didn't know you knew Turkish by the way :)

I don't know Turkish. Our co-worker was influencing me to do some work in Turkey. The Turkish Internet market is way back the time line. No big companies for Internet marketing. We where influenced to settled down with a Turkish Company called Reklamz may you know them. But before entering the market we saw that Turkey is not a profitable place.

Before all of this our co-worker researched everything about Turkey. Yes your website doesn't have adsense iframe module but the same owner has other websites doing this when I first saw that. My effect was "what the.."

Your correct most people over the internet steal others work that's not a excuse. But I guess some Turkish webmasters stoled wrong peoples work.. "Probably mafia :p" don't know.

That's my part of the story.

I realize that the message delivered is pretty generic and is generated by the web server when it cannot talk to the DB.

However, in order for this to have been a DoS someone would have to know the IP of the DB server specifically!!! I doubt this is public info. Also, most people place their DB on a private LAN that no one from the outside can hit.

Given the fact that other servers were up, Digital Point was up, Optigold, etc., I would have to say it seems very, very unlikely that a DoS was to blame here. I just cannot see someone singling out one particular server. I would also imagine that the DB servers are clustered on a private LAN as I indicated before, again, making it extremely unlikely that a DoS was to blame.

Again, like I said, I was talking in general :) Just technical info, nothing about DP's downtime issue.

np.. Anyway, I think at the end of the day, all our speculation is for not. Only one person knows the reason for the problems. And I would imagine, as he has in the past, will likely state a reason and close this thread ending all our speculation.

I never said it was a reliable source, i said look what i found.

And what does the creation and expiration dates have anything to do with the reliability

??? the DP server going down was a planet issue - they have a very similar IP to a server i own - DP server was relocated about 12 hours after the fire - The rest of us little people are still waiting for our servers to get back up. Obviously there would be some DB issues with DP if they had to kill the power on the server.
As for the hack etc - its possible that during the process of the sytems being moved or power going down something was overlooked - I had a similar hack on the sites
