What Adsense Resources Do You Visit?

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by Burta, Apr 10, 2006.

I was just wondering what "Adsense" resource site you visit to keep up to date with Adsense and get new insights and ideas off other Adsense publishers. I personally tend to hang around here at DP and at Adsense Chat, I do float off to other Adsense resource occasionally but those are the only two that I frequently visit? So where do you go?

The Adsense forum at webmasterworld.com - you'd have to wade through tons of whining and petty posts to unearth the gems.

FWIW, I've purchased dozens of ebooks and subscribed to a handful of memberships and services to keep abreast of "Grey Hat" methods. Some of the techniques are applicable to the "White Hat" approach.

I like digitalpoint and webmasterworld most. I also read sitepoint and warriorforum.com. The AdSense warrior forum requires wading through a lot of crap, but there are some good tips. That community is way too friendly to people putting together auto-generated MFA crap... far below digitalpoint's standards.

In addition to AdSense, I read the following extremely useful general web design/programming sites:

    http://www.positioniseverything.net/
    http://www.webstyleguide.com/
    http://www.webdesignfromscratch.com/
    http://www.alistapart.com/

Jensense is good for very specific affilate info. (Like digging into the tos, you can't find better on specifics) She is the pro.

wmw is good for generic info- But you can't get specific on anything. It's all widget this, widget that.

Honestly, everything I have learned that made me money and really helped me (tips, help, feedback) is from dp.

    No wading required....

    DP ROCKS!

I used to read the Adsense guys themselves (at http://adsense.blogspot.com), but it's basically pointless. They spend 90% of their time patting themselves on the back for being Google, and the other 10% bragging about how great it is to be an Adsense publisher. I believe them, it is great to be an Adsense publisher, but for some reason I expected more insight into the program, or how to increase revenue besides the same 5 "Adsense optimizaiton secrets" that they "reveal" every 3rd post.

I have to agree with the sites already mentioned here: Digital Point, WebmasterWorld, etc.

But if I wake up and see something quirky, or there are any kind of changes going on, I hit http://www.jensense.com - that's the place to get the latest ;)

I recently got Joel Comm's adsense book, too, so I check out his Adsense Coaching Club and scan through his emails as they come in. I got the print version, and I have to admit - it's been fun to flip through (depending on what I'm interested in at the moment), and I really liked the case studies bonus too.
