I have website www.example.com , and I'm adding articel to the pages www.example.com/artcle1 www.example.com/artcle2 www.example.com/artcle3 how helpful is it in SEO to keeping adding unique article to my website?
It depends on how well written the content is. Are you writing the articles for the search engines (a really bad idea) or for the people who are using your site?
Well I'm writing for both, I think the article I wrote are well content and very usefull for the user.
You should be glad I'm not an English teacher. Anyway, the Content Writing section of the SitePoint forums contains some really wonderful resources to answer your question. http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=241
Articles as pages sounds little bit odd. If you wanna add pages to your site then add pages target to your niche. By adding pages targeting to your niche you cud get some support for keyword as well as help to target competative relevant keyword. OR you cud run a blog on your site & try to keep adding content in it. These things wud help you lot. And if you have great article then you cud add to it some famous articles directories you cud get maxumum benefit in minimum time. While if you publish article in your site it wud take time to index as well as i am not sure it wud give you any benefit..................
Well, what article matters, i would like to say it should be unique, fresh, rich and quality content and only going to published on your own website, not on article directories to get cheap back links.
Might be articles directories give cheap backlinks but they also provide traffic. Which is more desired one. If u publish the articles on different page of your site then i don't think so it wud help u lot. It is just waistless. Then try to put up a proper page with proper on age optimization that wud help lot. Or use them in a blog on site that wud help u lot. Adding article page wud not do any work......
article submission will help you in both SEO and direct traffic.Write good unique articles and submit to directories/
I would like to ask, if we create a new article but it is not accessible from home page (but let's say from home page -> web page A -> our new article), usually how long will it take for the search engines (especially Google) to index our new web page? Oh forget to ask, I update my site twice a week. Does digg really help for indexing?
That's all depend upon your site popularity and also the popularity of page A. If they both are doing gud then your article page wud index when spiders wud index them again. Excat timing nobody tell. You also cud do one thing just add article page address in your sitemap. Place your sitemap address in your robots.txt file. It wud help to index faster your site. And digg also play role to get index your site.
