abandoning a payment check

    hi there,
    i've received payment check at 28 March.
    but i'm not plan to release the check now.
    will it accumulated with my next payment ?
    [currently my next payment is on hold]

    No it won't. You need to cash it, otherwise cancel it with extra charges.

    You can cash it later on also .. there is no problem with that .. I have had check which I encash after months and that is not at all a problem.. at least it is no problem for a couple of months or so

    @#2 i'll release it soon to avoid the check scorched.
    @#3 the check has a validity period (6 months i think). yes, we can release it anytime, but i avoid to pay extra costs if i have more than 2 check.
