how to market my mmorpg (rpg site)

okay i need ways of marketing my rpg site (role playing game) online for free or very cheap and will convert into members on my site.
www.beyondevo.com is the url (just for reference)

but needs working methods of advertising...

also will pay anyone 0.10 via paypal for every signup they get to the site. All you have to do is pm me your username and email on the site and then for every referral you get i will pay you 0.10 into paypal. However only for the next 2 weeks. (no same ip accounts or spamming or i will not pay)

You would need to advertise that . But later on you would get static advertisements.

Log onto World of Warcraft or Runescape or something and try marketing there. I assume you have a subscription - just tell people that your site has some great tips on their game.

i would suggest adtoll.com, they are very cheap and most of their publishers have gaming sites, so your ads would be targeted

Yes, describe Your game more, At the main site write some story about your game - treat it as a briefing to the climate or something like that. Take some screenshots how the game looks after loging in. Add "Top players" with some points ( who has the most minerals/gold/stuff ).

And most important - work on graphical/design aspect of the game - for me the starting text is a little too much blurry and I have problems to read it.

Also I think, that submitting it to places like Digg can help You find some new users ( if You want I can digg Your site - just pm me with a link to submission and You'll have my vote )

i have actually nearly finished the new login and signup page which includes all that and now just security testing it before adding it to the site
hopefully that will encourage people to signup

 

Write in game forums and game blogs. Try adwords. Also for cheap advertising try project wonderful.

 

Make a nicer layout. When I go to your site, I have no idea what it is about. You need pictures and more text, so people know what they are signing up for. It is like running Adsense on a blog with a CTR below 0.01.

I don't know about this but I have an advice for you : People don't like games with no player, so at the first just get some friends or relatives to make it more tempting to join and play
