Real Estate Software - Name Feedback

    Hi guys,

Here is what I need feedback on. We've been working on a real estate script, and the name that has come to us is "Estate Case". Now, the dictionary says that

    Case:
    1. Lawsuit
    2. Container

Obviously, we use it with the second meaning but what do you think this would sound like to the majority of potential customers?

Will the name "case" be linked to a "briefcase for properties" (as our intention is) rather than a "legal action"?

I think you should reconsider the name. Name of the product should give away what its about.

To me the word "estate" is more commonly associated with the property of deceased persons rather than just real estate holdings. Combined with "case" there was no thought of briefcase. When I saw Estate Case I thought it was something to help sort out the legalities of an estate.

I suggest you find a totally different name.

Definitely don't like the word "case" in there at all, regardless of meaning. Mental case, legal case, suit case...too many meanings. Be more concise. Don't make your customers guess or draw their own conclusions. KISS - Keep it simple stupid.

Well, I've always had second thoughts about this name as well. Need to speak to my partner then.
Thanks for your feedback, you've been helpful!

I wonder, what is your real estate script about?

    It's a Property Manager. A realtor script.
