there is a domain name which i really need to get but the whois record of that one is at DomainsByProxy.com (private registration) it got the admin and technical contact as <myneededwebsitename>.com@domainsbyproxy.com Domains by Proxy, Inc. DomainsByProxy.com 15111 N. Hayden Rd., Ste 160, PMB 353 Scottsdale, Arizona 85260 United States (480) 624-2599 Fax -- (480) 624-2599 domain was expired in april. and was on tdnam expired domain auction. but i missed it over there. What is the best way to get it. i dont think the person who got it off tdnam expired auction will sell it. the current owner got about one week to renew it, then i can buy from him. so i want to contact the owner. thanks in advance for your help
Contact the domain registrar(where the domain is registered to) and tell them you're interested to buy the domain from the current owner. Or even easier, seek the help of Godaddy domain buying agent, just pay them some money and they will try to get it for you.
Send an email to <myneededwebsitename>.com@domainsbyproxy.com It should bounce and reach the registrant.
thanks tobycoke i did send a email now, it didnt bonunce. hopefully it will be forwarded to the registrant
i dont think backordering will work in this case as it got a winning bid in tdnam auction, may be there is a chance if the winning bidder didnt buy it (but i dont know it might be passed on to the next bidder if that is the case, im on the bidding list as well)
is there any minimum price for a domain if i go though contacting the domain registrar. i just contacted a domain buying agent. but my budget on the domain was too low for him to proceed (he need a minimum budget of $5000)
Moniker.com has account reps who broker private deals and can get access to the owner of the privately held domains.
Sorry, I just tried to state the self defense ideas at the 11th hour . Sorry,I am unsure about prices ! Anyway best of luck !
