I dont think that Dalai Lama or other budhists made some karma. You must be dumb to think so. The situation China is getting tragic
I am sorry, I didnt want to say like, she said Dalai Lama made karma. And I was just trying to say that talking about karma is not right in this case
As someone with at least a past connection to buddhist practice, I'd have to agree that this is an asinine thing to say, no different from Pat Roberts's or any other whack job's comments that natural disasters taking place on (name the country's) shores are a result of a given nation's "wickedness." Sorry, just reads to me like another "weekend warrior" dabbling in buddhist cosmology who speaks an ignorant thing. In a word, "yep."
I think what made me really understand the devestation of it all, is when I saw pictures on the Internet. I saw pictures of mothers and fathers standing outside grieving and holding pictures of their kids and loved ones. It actually made me start crying, they didn't deserve that. It is certainly not the same as 911, but in a way it reminded me of 911. All the pictures of people standing outside showing pictures of those they have lost and grieving. I guess I don't care to much for the Chinese government, but I am very sorry for what happened to the Chinese people.
The scope of this thing is almost beyond comprehension. I think I saw this morning that aftershocks brought the destruction of more homes, in the 100's of 1000's? Words can do not justice to this tragedy.
From what I read, 911 was nothing compared to China earthquake, which affected the size of 3 time of Belgium, I was thinking Oh God, how on earth can anyone mobilize rescue for so huge a land area. But honestly the Chinese did an admirable job, at least compared to the Burmese Military Junta.
