McCain says Obama should visit Iraq with him

McCain has sharply criticized Obama for not having been to Iraq since 2006, and said they should visit Iraq together.

"Look at what happened in the last two years since Senator Obama visited and declared the war lost," said McCain noting thatObama's last Iraq trip came before the troop surge that is credited with curbing violence.

I invite McCain to cut down on his security which includes 100 American soldiers, with three Blackhawk helicopters, and two Apache gunships overhead. After all, the surge is working...

 

McCains out of his mind, the "war" is still lost. The only difference between now and 2006 is another 2,000+ American soldiers dead plus thousands upon thousands of Iraqis, a whole heap more depleted uranium (the results of which will come home to roost a few years down the line) plus thousands of US troops maimed for life.

 

Keep it up McCain. Keep campaigning on how great the Iraq war is. Let's see how that works out for you.
