- Aurora - Bots and non-english speaking Members (both no Problem with Aurora) - since you won't have to much Advertisers you will need some financial Background - Members will promote your Site to get Referrals. You barely need any Promotion Campaigns - why would you exchange Links with Websites running the same Scheme. Thats like a Dating Site advertising another Dating Site - using Aurora Script - don't worry about Visits - Alertpay & e-Gold (Paypal will freeze you) - go for splitted Payouts (e.g. Free Members 30 Days, Premium Members 15 Days) - anything from $0 to $10 - if you run multiple Sites you can have selfsponsored Links without wasting Money - Shared Hosting won't accept PTC Sites. Dedicated or good VPS If you have good Settings and a good Design you will have a couple Thousand Members in a matter of Weeks but! they won't buy anything (Affiliates) and they will barely click any other Ads then the paid ones (PPC), so the only Income will be Referral/Upgrade Purchases and maybe some Advertiser Purchases every Blue Moon.
i am the owner of a ptc site myself creonx is right about everything and it is a hard business especially with the number of cheaters. I am just in the process of implementing a new security measure as the aurora script is not enough on its own as people have started to get past that now anyhow my site is zxclicks.com if you want to go and see it nothing too special but all those bux sites like bux.to etc were it is just paid to click are bad as the only real way they keep ads are by being really big and well known otherwise the newer sites like that will fail and will only survive if mass number of bad refferals are purchased so stick with aurora type of sites who pay you to do a variety of things.

Up to about $3.00 - Only 1 site or multiple sites? Depends on how much you want to do - Which Hosting? Shared or Dedicated server? Shared will work in some cases, otherwise VPS. Dedicated is not needed unless you have 15,000+ members Anything else?
Perhaps we should invite each other to promote between sites in way of link exchanging? After all ptc traffic filters site to site regardless but we could help each other promote heavily. If (Say 10 sites) ran 10 ads for other sites in one big circle with no referrer we could all gain alot of unreferred members to resell to our members. Current stats on ours. Why on earth would you recommend YourOwnBux? And my recommendation would be custom coded, although it would be expensive. You can have the features you want, working the way you want. And unique sites tend to do better... take NeoBux as example for that.
YourOwnBux is only good if you gut it, fix all the holes / bugs Like I've done. Also you need to add ALOT of things which I've also done to tone down the cheaters and control the ads. It by default is a server load hog from useless indexing. That too needs to be gutted. If one can figure out what needs to be done it runs flawless but certainly not from stock.
Aurora script lets you to include for instance affiliate marketing links? (The one that pays per lead) some of them pays 2-3 dollars per lead...
For all you Aurora User out there. Implementing Cheatlinks in Aurora is very easy. That Way you get like 3 Security Walls...the Admin Panel IP Tool against Multiaccs, Cheat Check Trivia against Members that don't speak english and Cheatlink against Autoclickers. Simply put up a Link, give it a flashy Name and Highlight Color and set the Value to -xxx Points. This only works if you don't use Points in your Site. To check who clicked the Links simply go into phpMyAdmin and search the User Table for Point Value < 0. Copy Usernames and delete them in your AdminPanel.
