Can I push a newly registered domain to another account?

Let's say I've registered a new/dropped domain with Godaddy or Domainsite and wanted to sell it off. Can I push the domain to another account?

I've heard that you can only transfer the domain to another registrar after 30 days of registration...but does this rule apply when you want to 'push' the domain within the same registrar?

Yes,at Godaddy/domainsite or at most of the registrars, you can push the domain to other accounts without any problem.
Also for newly registered domains, there are 60 days to wait to transfer to other registrars.

Thanks for the input :) +rep added ;)

** The reason I ask this question is that I have stumbled upon a few dropped domains with PR and I was thinking to register it and then sell it here on DP :D

There should be no problem with GoDaddy. I have pushed many newly registered domain names to other GoDaddy accounts, and if the person doesn't have a GoDaddy account you can still push it to them quite easily. I have also done this with fairly new domains at Namecheap also. However, I have not tried to push domains from one registrar to another, so I am sure how that works.

Godaddy has just changed the account transfer process. The new registrant must have to own a Godaddy account and has to provide the account code in order to initiate account change from the current owner.
    You are most welcome !
Good luck with your ideas and just be more vigilant when you are selling domains stuffs.(specially on forums):)
If you could tell the domains after securing(registering) those !

    All the best.
