My first ever website (created by me)

Does this look bad my website, and what can I do to improve it thsi is only the main page (I made it in dreamweaver). Dont even think if what you say is mean just tell me, Thanks

by the way: It is for a video game that hasn't been released yet so it is kind of like a preview site (when game releases I will have more info). Where is says "More info from the web" I am going to put adsense ads for the time being.

its ok for your 1st one.. but id put your menu at the top and try to avoid to large graffics and like the big empty space on the right..

Nice! but you could make the tree on the right a little smaller, because it dosen't fit in a screen, it would be great if you could fit it!

You need a different theme for the site, the tree does not blend in well with the theme of the site.

touch up the fonts a little. Thats a big factor in web design.

NM: it looks good for now, what you need now is more content. Add more stuff to it.

For your very first website it's not bad. However, there is a lot of work that needs to be done.

First off that tree on the sidebar is of low quality (looks pixelated) and is way too big. The grid header should be replaced and a logo should also be added.

Agree for first site it's not bad, but your SEO is not good

 

The site would be even better if the theme is changed and even the fonts should be changed. But still this is your 1st site so youll gain better knowledge as soon as u start working on it. But there's a large improvement to be done yet, especially the graphics.

 

I think it looks ok, I assume this is a game for kids and the site is aimed at that market. One little change which would help. make the font for the general text, the same size:
At the moment "This web site is" and "When you first start" are different sizes.

I can't see the images though (not sure if you are currently working on it though)
I can see yoru google add client code at the bottom of the page
I would center the menu & title at the top as well.

Overall for a first site (the problems aside with theimages and code showing) I think you did a really good job.

I would take up some of the folks here on their offers to help you with the SEO.
That being said, I wouldn't use SEO soley for the purpose of making money. Make sure that your content will benefit your visitors first and foremost.
