Opinions Sought on Mailing List Software

    I want to start a weekly mailing list on one of my sites and wondered what is the best software to use for that. I already have about 1,000 confirmed email addresses that I'd like to send a weekly mailing to, so want a software solution that is easy to import addresses into and does all the subscription/remove functionality for me.

    My favorite is PHPlist with all the features of commercial ones.

    Thanks guys. With hosting services they sometimes say "so many mailing lists included" are those completely different?
