30,000 backlinks in 6 months-How is this done??

I have seen a site that is 6 months old gets great traffic and has 30,000 plus backlinks.

I hear everybody on DP saying that submiting to 1000 directories in one hit would be concidered as spam and google does not like this,is this true?

If so how does one get so many backlinks in such a short time?

Concidering most people charge between $20 - $30 to submit your site to 1000 directories(thats if they even submit to 1000-Id say more like 300-400 max)

So lets say $20 for 1000 submisions and maybe geting 300 backlinks out of it if your lucky,it would cost a lot of money to get 30,000 backlinks.

Maybe I have not learned all seen as im new on DP(many great people hear that share there info,I thank you)

Could anybody help me out with how to get many backlinks like this or explain to me how this is done in such a short time.

Many people say add fresh content but if you have a wallpaper site some times this is not as easy to do.

Most likely link-baiting. Link baiting comes down to providing something useful or quality that people will naturally link to, without payment or incentive.
For a wallpaper site it may be quite difficult, if you provide a service or standout from other wallpaper sites in some way, that may be a form of link baiting.
Finding that service or way to stand out is the difficult part.

 

It is highly unlikely that a website can receive decent traffic through (mass) directory submission, unless you're talking about one of those websites where good-looking birds let out their twins?
You see, there are other factors that are more important than getting backlinks from directories. Are you certain those 30,000 backlinks come from directories? Have you checked this?

That is actually called good (original and appealing) content, not link-baiting. I do agree with you, though, that this is definitely the difficult part.

 

To be honest I have not checked to see if they are all directories,no.

It could be from forum signatures whereby you make 20-30 posts a day and it's dofollow.

 

its easy if you sponsor wordpress themes.

 

I have 60.000 within 3 weeks. Just normal link developing excluding directories and other crap.

 

It is normal to have 30K backlinks for 6 months. They may all come from a one or few sitewides for example. Linkbaiting is another option as Mikesblank said. I've seen sites with over 50K for a shorter period.

 

60000, wow. Want to give any clues or is all the usual forum sigs, blog comments etc?

 

Here are a few link development methods i used. I find forum signatures quite useless however.

This is totally wrong.

 

That sounds like a sure banned formula, Google must see this as unnatural.
