Article submissions don't typically result in direct traffic, what you are getting here is huge backlinks.

 

Once the article is published, how long before it replicates throughout the network?

The manual submissions take a few days to get accepted.

The auto bit for the bulk of the submissions will take 5-7 days to get fully accepted.

In 7-10 results start showing in Google, can take a month to see full results.
