vBulletin Cash Mod?

I was just wondering if there was somewhat of a vBulletin Cash Mod that can be installed on vB and set so that member earn different amounts for posts in different sections and posts of different lengths?

I was basically just wondering can that mod be set so that members earn different amounts for posts in different sections and posts of different lengths? Also can members earn points/money from referring people with that mod?

I've posted on quite a vew board which use vbBux, and so I'll confirm GTAce's opinion that it is a very good mod.

I was just wondering also, can you set it so that people don't earn points or money until the people they refer has posted for "x" amount of posts etc.

Cant you set it up to only apply to certain upsergroups?

If so, then you could creat a promotion to a new usergroup upon x posts.

 

He's asking if you can give members points when they refer a member who makes x posts. As far as I know, that can't be done...with the current system, points are given as soon as the person registers - so a promotion would not be able to change this.

 

I'm also pretty sure GTAce is correct. I've never been able to get this sort of reporting out of vbux. I just keep a close eye on referrals in the admin cp and manually promote members whose referrals have met the post requirement.

You can always request that feature from the developer.

 

What do you guys mean when you are talking about a promotion? And what sort of features does vB offer in terms of tracking an individuals referrals - like is there a section where you can type a members name and it list all their referrals?

Don't worry about it...just to answer the question that you asked about points for referring, right now the points system does not include something that will give points only once a referred member makes x posts. Right now, points are automatically given as soon as the member registers.

You can't track referrals with vB at this time...you can add a field on registration for people to tell you where they found you...but to see that information, you need to visit individual profiles (nothing that "tallies" referrals). There is a mod, however, that's easy to implement and will list top referrers...you can see an example here

 

That mod with the top refers list looks sorta like what I want - I could manually go thorugh and make sure that points people that were credited for referrals actually have referrals that have posted 5 times... it would be a pain - but it would be managable.
