I intend to use a directory as my new links page. I'd like to give the oppertunity to pay someone in the know, to design me a directory service I can use as my links page. Just a few things I'd like: search by url the header is to be the same as my homepage picture. It just has to feel like www.exoticcarsite.com left column: Have like a "Featured Link" or something, it could be a $5 / month link or something, whatever. centre column: The directory listing itself right column: 120x600 ad space for a google adsense ad. I'd like it to have stats so you can see how many times the link has been clicked. All in all, something like this I guess [but just not at its cost of $170]: http://demo.focalmedia.net/wengine.html but with my website look and feel to it. I agree with iowadawg, you can use phpLinkDirectory, it can do all the requirements you have mentioned in your post. Can be customized extensively, like what I have done at http://ipage.info
customization is what it's all about when it comes to phpld. as already mentioned, there are some nice templates readily available. my site is done and will be going live tomorrow. http://www.activeweblinks.com
www.wsnlinks.com is free and I'm pretty happy with how www.top100vbulletin.com looks the templating system is very flexible and you can pretty much do what you want
phpld.com is just a single page, so I went to http://www.phplinkdirectory.com/ but its $25 & $75 for a copy, depending if you want their name in the footer or not. Their http://www.phplinkdirectory.com/demo link doesn't even work - 404 error...?
Of their one page, is a link to the main site. At the main site, you can see, you can buy ver3, or get ver2 free. Look at the left hand side menu for the ver2.
