    I'm nearly finished working on:

    http://www.10facts.com/

The content there is 100% original and very high quality. I plan to put adsense on the article pages.

How would you promote this one?

Yeah seo, maybe do one of those free press releases, get Google Adsense. There's so many ways to advertise, even just word of mouth works. Might want to add some more to it though, something to fill the empty space you have. I like the header though.

Draft meta tags with targetted keywords ,Title and nice description. And then submit it in to search engines. Then do some link building for it.

Do search engines really pay attention to the "keywords" meta tag?

Actually no. It's pretty useless (only as far as SEO goes).

If you want some info about other meta tags, i just wrote a post today, about META Description.

It still has a usefullness, for backword compatibility, and accesibility or functionality issues.

As for submitting to SE's, it's no point to do it. They will automatically index your site, if you have links pointing to it. If you don't have links pointing to it, it's just a waste of time to submit it anyway, because it will get indexed in months, and you will never have any rank.

    :)

maybe it was a bad joke :D earned me some red.
seriously though, that is the way i would promote it... there are tons of posts with basic (and advanced) explanations, tips, etc. on how to do seo in the SEO section (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=12)

anyway didn't mean for it to be rude :)

But it wasn't rude .. i was just joking with ya'...

It's pretty useless to actually point to someone to use seo to promote his website, in a 100% seo forum.

It might do good, to actually explain what part of seo to do, and how :)

    Cheers.
